Pascal Schmitz

Pascal is an investigative lawyer at ENQUIRE. He has several years of experience in financial markets law, which he acquired through his work as a managing project lawyer at a well-known law firm in Zurich. During this time his work focused on large-scale projects in the area of international legal assistance and compliance, areas in which he has developed in-depth legal knowledge and expertise, particularly in the fields of white-collar crime, eDiscovery, Swiss banking secrecy, data protection and project management. Pascal advised clients on various aspects of internal investigations, including providing guidance on collection and preservation issues as well as the coordination of responses to Swiss and foreign authorities’ requests. His work included the management of sizeable review teams and the coordination with relevant stakeholders including the collaboration with foreign law firms. Beside his engagement as an investigative lawyer Pascal is working on larger publications and business development projects for ENQUIRE. Further, he is writing his PhD thesis on the handling of sexual harassment cases within the financial industry.
